AWR and GEP Partner to Transform S2P Process

Dubai Based AWR Group and Software Provider GEP Are Partnering to Transform Their Source-to-Pay (S2P) Process

AI-driven procurement and supply chain software provider GEP will be working with AW Rostamani Group (AWR), who are one of the largest, privately-owned family businesses in the Middle East, to support the digital transformation of its procurement operation, following a competitive review.

The AWR Group, established in 1954 and headquartered in Dubai, UAE, operates several companies in diverse sectors: automotive, real estate, retail, lighting, travel and logistics, with more than 4,000 employees generating over $2 billion in revenue.

Transforming S2P

AWR have confirmed they will be using GEP software to help transform their entire source-to-pay (S2P) process, encompassing sourcing, spend analytics, and supplier and contract management. GEP will provide a full range of solutions to support AWR's continuing growth and mission to enrich communities.  The objectives of the partnership will be to increase visibility into spend to drive new value, mitigate risk by enabling comprehensive supplier performance evaluation, and strengthen its procurement operation by automating processes and improving efficiency.

“We’re growing strongly and we’re excited to select GEP because of their proven software platform, to help us transform procurement and deliver new value to our customers,” said Asma Almulla, director of procurement, AWR

“We’re looking forward supporting AWR’s overhaul of their global procurement function, and kicking-off 2024 by announcing a diversified powerhouse as our newest client,”  Abdel Halim, GEP’s head of software sales, Middle East and Africa.
